Preparation of the ingredients
1. Dice potato, onion, carrot and celery
2. Mince the garlic
Preparing the soup
1. Heat the olive oil and add the ground beef and cook for about 10 minutes.
2. Add the diced onions and garlic to the pot and sauté for about 3 minutes, until the onions are translucent.
3. Add the diced potatoes, carrots, and celery to the pot, along with the dried thyme, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture boils.
4. Add the beef broth. The soup should simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the veggies are soft, on low heat.
5. Once the vegetables are cooked, adjust the seasoning if necessary.
