Preparing the soup

1.  In a large pot, add broth, potatoes, onion, garlic, thyme, and bay leaf. Boil the veggies  and then simmer for about 20 minutes.

2.  Add the shrimp and celery to the pot. Cook the shrimp until they are fully done and pink.

3.  Remove the bay leaf and add the heavy cream. Heat the soup over medium heat until heated through.

4.  Serve hot and flavor with salt & pepper to taste.
